About Irina Berdonces Bonelo

I'm Irina, a mountain and canyoning guide in Spain and a Glacier Guide in Iceland, currently living in the Pyrenees. I recently founded "Muntanyes i més", a project born from the desire to share my mountain pasion and values with people. The project wants to create opportunities where others only see difficulties and limits, looking for small groups and moving away from conventional routes, to offer more authentic experiences connected to the territory, transmitting the value of natural heritage and the need to preserve it. About me, in love with the mountains and everything that surrounds them. I am passionate about mountain sports such as rock and ice climbing, mountaneering ski, alpinism, canyoning. I also enjoy walking, observing and recognizing fauna and flora as well as traveling, discovering new mountains, new cultures and different ways of relating to the territory. Each place has reminded me that, even if the mountains change their name or shape, they always share the same essence. Five years ago, I decided to train as a mountain guide and turn my passion into my profession. Since then I have continued to learn. I have specialized in canyoning, worked and trained as a glacier guide in Iceland and have continued to seek out experiences that would help me better understand the mountains in all their forms.
