Reini Meichtry Verified Guide

About Reini Meichtry

I’m Reini, the person behind simply.hiking and your hiking guide for every season. Based in Valais, I’m a Swiss-certified hiking guide and UIMLA International Mountain Leader. Mountains have been part of my life since childhood. For me, a good hike leaves room for curiosity: watching a bearded vulture circle overhead, reading tracks in the snow or discovering the stories behind a landscape. I guide small groups on hikes, alpine walks and snowshoe tours across the Alps. Nepal is another place close to my heart, where trekking brings us into contact with remarkable landscapes and the people who call them home. You can expect thoughtful preparation, a welcoming atmosphere and time to enjoy the places we explore. Bring your curiosity and tell me what draws you to the mountains. Let’s find a path that suits you.
