For more than 25 years I have gone from amateur to professional. I was trained first in Russia (alpine guide) and then in Kyrgyzstan (IFMGA mountain guide). At the moment I live in Europe, and of course my home mountains are the Alps. The areas I am most familiar with are the Aosta Valley and South Tyrol in Italy. I am drawn to wild, undiscovered places. I enjoy climbing in remote areas where the mountains reveal their pristine beauty.
