Born in the United States to an Italian father and Venezuelan mother, raised in France. I have always belonged to more than one place. Chamonix is the one that claimed me. I fell for it 25 years ago, bought an old farmhouse, and built my life around these mountains ever since. I have spent the past 15 years working in development communications in Geneva, but the mountains are where I actually come alive. I am a certified mountain leader (Accompagnateur en Montagne) and a lifelong mountaineer, with years of personal practice across ice climbing, ski touring, rock and trad routes, and alpinism throughout the Alps. I'm also a certified personal trainer (University of Lausanne) and a keen sportswoman at heart. A former competitive karateka (French Championships, UK university championships) who has traded the dojo for ultramarathons, orienteering races and her love of the outdoors. I love sharing the kind of challenge that changes how you see yourself: the climbs and hikes that ask more of you than you thought you had, and give it back tenfold.
