Ilaria Petrucci Verified Guide

About Ilaria Petrucci

Hi! ⛰️ I'm Ilaria, although everyone calls me Ila. I'm originally from Italy but have called the UK home for the past 23 years. My love for the mountains began during one of the hardest chapters of my life. While healing from an emotionally abusive relationship in 2019, I found solace, strength, and a sense of freedom in nature. The mountains became a place where I slowly found myself again. That experience inspired me to turn my passion into a career. In 2025, I qualified as a Mountain Leader, and today I guide hikes across the UK as well as leading unforgettable group adventures in the Dolomites, Slovakia, and beyond. I love helping people discover not only incredible landscapes, but also the confidence and joy that come from exploring them.
