About Agustín Ciriza Urrestarazu

I hold a degree in Tourism and work as a certified tour guide in the Basque Country. I'm a member of AEGM and UIMLA as a Mountain Leader, and over the past eighteen years I've built a life around showing people the trails I love most—the GR11 through the Pyrenees, sections of the Camino de Santiago, and the valleys and ridges of my home region. Beyond hiking, I'm qualified as a surf instructor, kayak instructor, white-water river guide, mountain bike guide, and ecotourism specialist. That range keeps my work varied and my perspective broad. Whether we're trekking multi-day routes or navigating winter conditions in the mountains, I focus on reading the landscape, pacing the group, and making sure the experience feels personal and grounded. I guide because I genuinely enjoy being out there and sharing what I know.
