Hi, I’m Jo, a qualified Mountain Leader and outdoor instructor. My journey into becoming a hiking guide started with learning to believe in myself. For a long time, I didn’t feel confident in my own abilities or comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. Hiking gradually changed that. One of the biggest turning points was completing my first multi-day trek through remote terrain. Navigating unfamiliar landscapes, being responsible for myself and overcoming the challenges along the way taught me some of the most valuable lessons and helped me become someone who trusts herself. Hiking became much more than walking through beautiful landscapes. It helped me build confidence, challenge myself and discover what I was capable of. Now, I want to share that experience with others — helping people feel comfortable, confident and inspired to explore the outdoors and perhaps discover a little more about what they are capable of too.
